Leisure Strategy for Tandridge District Council

Parks and open spaces are integral to the physical and mental wellbeing of local communities. As part of a renewed focus on these key assets, Coast to Capital were tasked by Tandridge District Council to draft a new leisure strategy for the area.

Engaging with key stakeholders and bringing our experience in strategic planning, we created a broad yet targeted plan to revitalise outdoor space provision while supporting greater levels of physical activity among both young and old demographics. Keeping in mind the funding pressures that many local authorities are struggling with, the strategy also included a financial action plan on grant applications, advertising and sponsorship opportunities to ensure long-term sustainability.
