Runnymede Business Boost

Coast to Capital bid for and won a contract to design and deliver a 2-year programme of business support targeting Runnymede-based small businesses on behalf of Runnymede Borough Council to utilise their UKSPF allocation. This included the design, development, and rollout of a new grant scheme.

The “Runnymede Business Boost” business support programme assisted 145 small businesses across the Borough in its first year, with a mixture of grant support, 1-1 mentoring, Peer to Peer networking sessions, events, triage, orientation, signposting, and referrals.

Year 2 is now underway, with a further 7 Peer to Peer networking sessions planned in, 3 events, and Round 2 of Grants for Growth. Runnymede Business Boost aims to assist a further 255 small businesses in this delivery year.
