East Surrey Transport Study
Comprehensive study of the transport network across a consortium of local authorities in East Surrey
Coast to Capital was commissioned by a consortium of four East Surrey local authorities to produce a transport study across the region. This long-form study of the transport network looked at a number of different aspects:
- the transport network as it currently existing, including road, public transport, and active travel.
- data and insights on how East Surrey residents and businesses use the network, such as where demand was and what stakeholders wanted to see from it in the future.
- strategic alignment between the four authorities with regard to their transport and planning documentation, and where opportunities to work together existed.
Our study formed a key part of a suite of research that would underpin new collaboration between the individual councils on economic development.
