Summary of Project:
Oxted is a key town in the district of Tandridge located in East Surrey. With good links to London and major airports, the location gives Oxted an advantage to businesses and residents in the area. Despite this advantage, barriers to growth include both road and rail congestion and availability of land for residential and commercial purposes.
The Local Growth Funds have contributed to feasibility studies for the Station Road East & West urban redesign project and the Ellice Road & Johnsdale car park redevelopments. All of which will contribute to progressive growth for the area.
Key Outputs:
- 150 safeguarded jobs
- 6,220sqm of commercial floor space constructed
- 110 homes
