Working Together for Work (WT4W)
ESIF: European Social Fund (ESF)
Priority: Priority 4: Creating skills for the future
Working Together for Work aims to support families who have multiple complex barriers by supporting parents into employment or training by developing their skills, capabilities, talents and resilience. Participants are assessed to identify their needs and a bespoke programme of support is agreed. This may include working with the children through play sessions, and providing support to the parent through workshops, one to one mentoring, and volunteering opportunities to enable them to gain practical skills in the workplace and to assist with social inclusion. Participant surveys state that participants feel more optimistic about the future, are more confident about asking for help, feel happier, less isolated/lonely and are more confident to access support and deal with setbacks
