Routes offers a personalised package of practical support help deal with the problems that hold people back from work, helping people into employment by providing intensive placements, local learning opportunities and employability focused information, advice and guidance. The partners have developed community-based approaches that have boosted the work readiness, confidence, skills and employability and well-being of those furthest from the labour market. The project also supports participants along their journey into employment by providing support such as covering training costs, childcare and subsidised travel whilst accessing the service and connecting people to local job opportunities or with business start-up support.
