Local Learning Perspectives (LLP)
ESIF: European Social Fund (ESF)
Priority: Priority 4: Creating skills for the future
The project aims to promote and increase social inclusion by supporting individuals in the community while developing their basic and social skills, with a view to supporting them into employment or training. Participants are assessed to identify their needs and a bespoke programme of support is agreed. Support is delivered via one-to-one mentoring, and learning through sport, workshops, craft activities and volunteering. Participant surveys state that participants feel more confident, happier, less lonely or isolated, improved quality of life, more able to access support and are confident in asking for help.
